At Cozy Cardigan Therapy, I work with healthcare professionals, individuals who have experienced medical trauma, and caregivers supporting medically complex children or loved ones. This might look like carrying the emotional weight of your work, trying to make sense of a difficult diagnosis or hospital experience, or living with the ongoing pressure and responsibility of caregiving. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected.

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based approaches like EMDR and CBT. Together, we’ll gently process what you’ve been carrying, reduce the intensity of anxiety and intrusive thoughts, and help your nervous system feel safer and more settled.

My Approach

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help process medical trauma, distressing hospital experiences, and high-intensity caregiving memories. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support anxiety, catastrophic thinking, guilt, and the mental load that often comes with medical stress and caregiving roles. Together, we work to help your nervous system feel safer, reduce the emotional intensity tied to medical experiences, and rebuild a sense of steadiness and internal trust.
