  • As of right now, all sessions are virtual. Due to license restrictions, clients need to physically be located in North Carolina or South Carolina during their appointments.

  • According to research, virtual therapy is as effective as in-person therapy. However, different approaches work for different people and some people prefer in-person services!

  • Your first appointment will be reviewing expectations, what is bringing you to therapy, history, and reviewing therapy goals/treatment plan. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them during this appointment! It is recommended to be connected to wifi on a laptop/tablet to ensure a strong network connection.

  • Yes, it is recommended to be in a private space away from distractions for appointments.

  • Due to license restrictions, I am only able to see clients who are physically located in North Carolina and South Carolina.

  • You can self-schedule an appointment in the client portal or by reaching out to us via email! Keep in mind, that all intake paperwork needs to be completed at least 24 hours before first appointment.

  • Yes, I take insurance! As of right now, I am in network with United Healthcare/Optum, Aetna, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Check back for updates on additional insurances!

  • Sessions are generally scheduled for 53-55 minutes. However, some people prefer 30 or 45 minute appointments. Please reach out to therapist to discuss session length! Frequency of sessions will be discussed during your first appointment, with appointments generally being every 1-2 weeks.

  • We ask that appointments be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance when possible. You can cancel your appointment through the client portal or email.

  • At this time, I do not work with children or couples.
